Meadow Farm Church Leadership

Meadow Farm Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Our pastors receive guidance and support from the Pastor/Staff Relations Committee, elected Administrative Board, and Church Membership.

Dean Cole

Pastor

Dean Cole is pastor at The Meadow Farm Church. He has been in that role since August 2015. Dean says, "I love serving in a church our size. I know their names, their families, their occupations and their interests. Our people at Meadow Farm love the Lord and they love others by living into the Great Commandment. Everyone receives an immediate welcome when walking through the door. Our church family is vibrant and faithful."

Pastor Dean believes in providing a Biblical message each Sunday and making the Scripture come alive with stories that resonate with people's situations. He has a Children's Message during each worship time knowing that children learn much at an extremely young age, and it is incumbent on the church to help them grow up in the Word.

Dean and his wife, Donna, have been married over fifty years. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law and four lively grandchildren.

Jeff Rings

Pastor

Pastor Jeff came to The Meadow Farm Church in August of 2023. After serving The First United Methodist Church of Newark as Minister of Music for 33 years, he and his wife Judy began looking for a new church to attend. They visited several local churches and immediately knew that The Meadow Farm Church would be their church home.  "We were looking for a bible-based church that had traditional elements of worship." "The warmth of the congregation was felt immediately upon our first arrival."

Pastor Jeff felt a renewed call to the pastorate ministry. He specifically felt the call to serve disaffiliated United Methodist Churches. He filled the pulpit for several local churches.  He and Judy did not want to leave The Meadow Farm Church and were thrilled when the congregation voted to add him to the church staff.

Jeff and Judy have two daughters and a son along with three grandchildren.

Doris Flynn

Pastor Emeritus

God called me to two careers!  I taught for a little over thirty-three years in Zanesville City Schools.  Most of my years were with first graders.
I had always been active at Meadow Farm Church as a youth helper teaching Sunday School.  I knew that God’s first call to me was to teaching.  While teaching, I served the church in a number of ways, as Sunday school teacher, lay leader, member to Annual conference, a district lay speaker  for many years.  In August 1995, I began serving at Coburn United Methodist Church as “Pastor to Families with Children and Youth”.  As associate pastor, I  assumed a lot of duties!
Educationally, I graduated from Ohio University, and the Course of Study School at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio at Delaware, Ohio.  I served fourteen years at Coburn UMC, retiring in 2009.
We returned to Meadow  Farm Church and I was humbled to be asked to serve as Pastor Emeritus.
God has blessed us, Gary and me, with a son, Bryan and daughter-in-law Stefanie who live in Montana and a daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law, Dwight and a grandson, Aidan, who live in Hilliard, Ohio.
